The refund policy.
Generative AI is probabilistic — sometimes the result isn't what you hoped for. We've kept the rules short and the path to a refund short with them. If you have a real complaint, we'd rather fix it than fight you on it.
We'll refund or credit you when…
- The Service was down or broken and you couldn't use what you paid for.
- You were charged in error, twice, or after cancelling.
- A subscription auto-renewed and you didn't use it — request within 14 days of renewal.
- A generation failed due to our error (server crash, content-policy false positive that we agree was wrong).
- You bought a credit pack within the last 14 days and have used none of it.
We can't refund when…
- You're unhappy with the creative output. AI is probabilistic — re-roll, refine, or change your prompt.
- You've used most of your credits. The portion consumed is non-refundable.
- Your account was terminated for a Terms violation (illegal content, deepfakes, harassment).
- The request comes more than 14 days after the charge.
- The charge is more than 12 months old.
Overview
This policy explains when and how you can get a refund or service credit from Morphra. It supplements (and doesn't replace) any statutory rights you have under your local consumer law — see EU / UK statutory rights.
In simple terms: we refund unused credits within 14 days, we don't refund credits you've already burned, and we always make good on charges that were our fault.
One-time credit packs
If you bought a credit pack (e.g. Starter, Creator, Custom) and:
- You haven't used any credits — full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- You've used some credits — refund of the unused portion, prorated, within 14 days. After 14 days, unused credits remain in your account until they expire (12 months from purchase).
- You've used most credits — generally not refundable. We may issue a partial service credit at our discretion if there were quality issues we agree on.
Subscriptions
Monthly and annual plans renew automatically.
Cancellations
You can cancel from Settings → Billing at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. We don't prorate the unused portion of the current period.
Unwanted auto-renewal
If a subscription auto-renewed and you haven't used the new period, request a refund within 14 days of renewal and we'll refund the renewal in full. Beyond 14 days, or if you've used the new period meaningfully (generated more than 5% of included credits), we generally don't refund.
Annual plans
If you cancel an annual plan part-way through, you keep access through the paid period but we don't refund the remaining months.
Failed generations & quality
Credits are not consumed when a generation fails for a technical reason on our side (server error, timeout, infrastructure outage). If our system mistakenly charges you, the credits will be automatically refunded — usually within a few minutes. If you spot a charge that wasn't refunded, write to support@morphra.com with the generation ID.
Credits are consumed for generations that complete, even if the result isn't what you wanted. AI image generation is probabilistic — we recommend running a small test before bulk work. If you believe a content-policy block was a false positive, write to us and we'll review.
How to request a refund
Email us
Send a message to billing@morphra.com from the email address on your account.
Include details
Charge date, amount, and order ID (top of your Stripe receipt). One line on what happened is enough — no need to justify.
We respond within 3 business days
Most requests are approved on first read. If we need anything else, we'll ask in the reply.
Refund issued via original payment method
Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with. Funds typically appear in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Processing time
We process approved refunds within 3 business days. Once processed, the time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank — usually 5–10 business days for cards, 1–3 for digital wallets.
Refunds are always issued in the original currency of the charge. We do not refund FX losses if your card was billed in a different currency.
Chargebacks
Please write to us before filing a chargeback with your bank. We can usually resolve things faster directly, and chargebacks cost us bank fees regardless of who's right. If you've filed a chargeback, your account is paused until the dispute resolves.
EU / UK statutory rights
If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service purchase within 14 days. This right is forfeited if you use the service during that window (which, for credit packs, means consuming any credits). When you check out, you'll see a confirmation that you waive this right by using the credits immediately. This policy doesn't limit your other statutory consumer rights.
